ABOUT ME

I was born in 1948 in Abbotabad, Pakistan, a beautiful, serene and sleepy cantonment nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. My birthplace was thrust into global prominence on the night of May 2nd, 2011 when the mastermind of 9/11, Osama Bin Laden, was despatched to his Maker by Seal Team Six.
I learnt to fly before I learnt to drive. I flew my first solo flight at age 13 and was flying powered aircraft at age 16 and was flying operational missions while still a teenager. I started out on the best fighter jet of the 50’s; the F86 Sabre and retired flying the finest air superiority fighter aircraft ever built, the F16, Fighting Falcon.
I have flown British, American, Russian, Chinese and French fighters in diverse locations across many continents. I have been in harm’s way and ‘fired in anger’ more than once. My name is Shahid Kamal Khan. I live in Mississauga, Canada
